Another fantastic example of Story’s ability to blend photorealistic finesse with abstract surface, Stripe Scissor Sunset reveals a figure akin to Classical prototypes that is strikingly contrasted with its manipulated, distorted reflection on the surface. The light from above dances across this woman’s skin, while the striped colors of her swimsuit melt into the rippling water above.
